I will look a bit further into this problem but as i dont have a problem Its hard to dup. So now i have the wonderful out of the box force feedback that i had on the day pCars 2 launched. I managed to fix that issue by resetting the game and forcing the steam cloud to accept the game reset, i did keep my online rank but lost all other progress. I also had another issue that might be related where the ffb effect would degrade over time to the point where i would guess i lost 90% of all force feedback effects and no setting would bring it back and deleting the project cars 2 folder in the documents folder had no effect, not even jacks custom ffb files had any effect on bringing back the ffb effects. When i have the issue of the G29 not being detected by the game the G29 does interact with the game as it turns off the default centre spring effect it has from its own start up calibration spin. I tend to leave my G29 plugged to the pc and mains power in when i shut my pc down for the night so i dont know if that is causing an issue or not. When its not detected in game i have tried custom wheel and it came up with a message about no assignable buttons or something like that related to a controller.

In the device manager it shows as a Logitech G29 and same in game but if i uninstall the logitech software it just shows as a standard usb device in device manager and the game does not detect it. I have since disabled the logitech software from running at windows startup to rule that out as the issue but i not had enough time to test to it.

I had the issue before i did a clean install of windows and still have it after the clean install so i dont have old drivers installed for any of my hardware. I think on Logitech they have a program to clean old drivers.Ĭan you select G29 in options and does it work. Hi I have just tested it here and it works for me.Ĭan you make sure that any old Logitech drivers as uninstalled so that 8.96.81 is the only one installed. Logitech G29 and shifter with Drivers 8.96.81 and firmware 89.0.25 To get it to work I need to uninstall and reinstall and also turn my PC on and off numerous times.

Samsung 960 Evo m.2 Nvme drive for pCars 2 and windows 10 pro 圆4 I have a brand new G29 from Amazon, iv set it up and downloaded Ghub - one day it works the next day it wont, it continuously gets stuck in 'connecting' inside of the Ghub interface. Its starting to become annoying to have to restart my pc every time i want to play some Project cars so thought i better postĪll my drivers are up to date including USB drivers.ġ6gig DDR 4 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX The G29 shows up in device manager and works with other games but not project cars 2 unless i unplug the G29 and restart my pc then plug it back in and load pCars 2 asap.
As title Project Cars 2 is not detecting my G29 most of the time.
